Who are we?
Hollywood Resolve is led by Dernard Newell and Valerie “Val” Idehen, two professionals who bring expertise and lived experience to conflict resolution in the entertainment industry.
Dernard is a lawyer, mediator, and Cultural Intelligence specialist with over 20 years of experience guiding people through high-stress environments with empathy and clarity. Val is a seasoned television executive and showrunner turned mediator, offering a rare insider’s perspective on production dynamics and dispute resolution.
